Hotelier Thorsten Enzinger is found dead in the kitchen of the hotel restaurant in the morning. Beissl and Jerry begin to investigate and quickly discover that the ownership structure surrounding the hotel is more than opaque. Christian Bichler, the victim's brother-in-law, has a double motive for murder, as he now inherits the entire hotel. The suspicion against him is relieved by his fiancée Felicitas Beck. The deceased made advances towards her and stalked her. But then Bichler himself becomes the victim of an attack. Apparently, this was not aimed at him, but at his fiancée Felicitas, whose dubious past is increasingly becoming the focus of the detectives' investigations.
