Citizen Vigilante (2026) watch online

Citizen Vigilante is a 2026 action-thriller film produced, written, and directed by Uwe Boll. It stars Armie Hammer as Michael Sanders, a vigilante enraged by the breakdown of law and order who targets criminals and rapists, most of whom are migrants, and the corrupt officials who protect them.

The independently produced film was released in select theaters in North America and digitally on June 19, 2026, with a British release being approved in early July. It received negative reviews from critics, who criticized its plot, execution and perceived anti-immigrant message, but was praised by several right-wing and far-right figures.

In Germany, the film did not receive an age rating in its first two reviews by the FSK, meaning it could not be shown in theaters, advertised, or sold in most stores. Elon Musk subsequently promoted the film and made it available for free on X for two days. After a third review, the FSK assigned an 18 rating to the film's theatrical release, allowing it to be shown in theaters.
