In August 2022 teenager Daniel (Alfred Vatne) goes missing; most locals blame the wolves. Other major roles are journalist Naim (Cengiz Al), police sheriff Asbjørn (Jan Gunnar Røise) and his sister Anne (Ingjerd Egeberg), the town's mayor.
